WRAP Award

Congratulations, OVF gardeners!!

Once again, Ocean View Farms has earned the distinction of being a Waste Reduction Awards Program (WRAP) winner. In receiving this award for the eleventh year in a row, the California Integrated Waste Management Board (CIWMB) recognizes OVF for our long-term contribution to waste reduction and resource efficiency.

CIWMB applauds our voluntary efforts to reduce, reuse, and recycle. Our activities have helped cut California's trash in half and save both OVF and the city of Los Angeles money. OVF's efforts have helped protect the environment while saving real business dollars.

OVF is proud to be honored with the 2005 WRAP award. The participation of every member of the garden has been vitally important. Your dedication to the recycling and reuse of garden-related materials has substantially reduced waste and unnecessary resource consumption.
